Hop on in, Kid.
Ali is a Michigan transplant turned entrepreneur, working and playing in Chicago, Illinois.
A story-driven illustrator, Ali utilizes art to connect with the people around her. She travels the country for comic conventions, speaking engagements, and really good coffee. Her senior year at Columbia College Chicago, Ali self-published an all ages graphic novel, "The Hasty Pastry". She has since gone on to illustrate multiple books, collaborated with dozens of independent creatives, and worked with numerous corporate clients -- all while donating her playful caricature skills to charitable organizations such as PAWSChicago, Alive Rescue, and The Humane Society. She is an educator and motivator, leading workshops with The Girls Scouts of America, The International School of Comics, and public libraries in the greater Chicago area. When she's not creating artwork, Ali enjoys creating food as colorful as it is tasty, biking around her beautiful city, and leaving half-drank cups of tea around her apartment. She deeply values honest and inspirational time spent with friends, and dreams of one day owning a French Bulldog named Noodle. |
