Child of the Moon is a song made popular by The Rolling Stones, and presented here re-imagined for a younger audience.

Created as two spot illustrations with pen and ink, this editorial spread was colored and then composed digitally.  Taking motifs of rain, clouds, moon, and sky from the lyrics in the song, I also took literal meaning to the term "Child of the Moon", creating a youthful character with a raindrop-laden canine companion.  "Child of the Moon" and all rights are copyright The Rolling Stones.
