Our Fair City is a long-running, post apocalyptic podcast with a rotating theme each year.  The season I was invited to create guest art, huge, over-grown ants terrorized the human heroes -- and villains --  throughout underground passageways and tunnels.  

I was graciously invited to create art for two episodes in 2015 and 2016, and I went into the pieces with very loose structures.  Since bristol won't absorb most water, and instead lets it evaporate away until only the pigment remains, it results in hard edges and distinct rings of color--which I love!  I then went in with a red marker to create outline and emphasis, and added additional splatter marks and spray lines to mimic blood for the two rather gory episodes I was assigned.  The artwork and the associated episodes can be seen on-site, at Our Fair City.
